2. FERPA Compliance
The Grad Team complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
We only collect student or institutional data with authorization from each participating school or university, and we use that data solely for graduation photography, order fulfillment, and communication related to those services.
Student lists or photo data are never resold, reused, or shared for unrelated marketing.

4. Data Retention
Graduation photos and related data are securely archived for reorders and institutional verification.
We do not currently delete archived event data, as many families reorder years later.
All stored data is encrypted, access-controlled, and monitored for unauthorized use.

6. Biometric & Facial Recognition Notice
Our photo lab partners may use facial recognition technology solely to match graduation photos to event participants.
This process helps deliver accurate galleries and proofing links.
No biometric templates are reused, shared, or sold, and all photo data is stored securely by authorized vendors.

We follow an internal framework aligned with the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard.
All systems are protected by encryption, firewalls, and multi-factor authentication for administrators.
While no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we continuously monitor and improve our security posture to protect all personal and institutional data.

The Grad Team is committed to digital accessibility.
All public websites and galleries are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
